The bar tender knows who you are! Your drink says a lot...

Before you order a drink at the bar read this carefully. Seven bar tenders in New York were asked whether they could tell what a womans personality is from what they order at the bar. Dispite being asked seperrately the answers were nearly the same.

The conclusions:

Women
Drink: Beer
Personality: Informal, not needy; down to earth.
Approachability: Challenge her to snooker.

Drink: Shaken drink
Personality: untrustworthy, always complaining, provoking; completly annoying.
Approachability: Avoid her unless you want to be her minion.

Drink: Mixed drink
Personality: Mature, intelligent, needy, sees every minute detail; knows what she wants.
Approachability: You don't need to approach her. If she has any interest she will send YOU a drink.

Drink: Wine (except for Zinfandel)
Personality: Conservative and tasteful; wordly-wise but lots of fun.
Approachability: Tell her you love to travel and enjoy a quiet evening with a good group of friends.

Drink: Zinfandel white wine
Personality: Simple; thinks she is very tastefull and wordly-wise but really doesn't have a clue what that means.
Approachability: Let her think shes cleverer then she really is...this should be and easy target.

Drink: Shots
Personality: Enjoys being with a group of boys and is very much for being VERY drunk...and naked!
Approachability: The easiest target in the place. You are very lucky. Don't do anything but wait, but don't piss her off!

Drink: Tequila
No need for explanation - says all that needs to be said.


Then, a little extra about men - but the conclusion is always simple and understandable:

Native(?) beer: he is poor and wants a f**k.

Imported beer: He knows what is a good beer and wants to f**k.

Wine: He lives in hope that the wine will give him a worldly-wise look which will increase his chances of gettin' some.

Wiskey: He doesn't care about anything except for gettin' some.

Tequila: He thinks he has a chance with the touth less waitress.

Zinfandel white wine: He is Gay

Which one are you? :D

So... The weather is disgusting here! thees is an actual snow storm...There is snow everywhere, it's snowing non-stop and it's really, really, REALLY windy!!! and it's supposed to get worse!!! :-( this is not fair! I did not sign up for this!!! it's too cold! I'm wearing tights and socks AND slippers, and I'm wearing 2 t-shirts and a jumper and a coat and scarf! and I'm inside!!! well actually that's at school and I'm still cold there because all my lessons are in the oldest building of the school which is 100 years old!!! it's not very kind... :S

So there was a Valentines Day disco at my school on tuesday! a very famous icelandic DJ/singer came...Páll Óskar...if anyone watches Eurovision Song Contest they might remember him...he's performance was quite...ehm...controversial....but anyway it was very good...was from 21 - 1 and of course I spent the whole time on the dance floor dancing! it was great fun!!! :D

Then I have some news! I think I will be spending June and July working in Hull! until I go to Newquay! which I am very excited for!!! can't wait! and then afterwards I don't know what to do! what do you think? whould I stay on til september in England or should I go back to Iceland? think I might go back to Iceland and spend some time with my friends and family in Ísafjörð... and I think I'll go visit my family in Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands) My aunt (or my cousins wife) died the other day when I was in England...the one that had breast cancer...She had it for nearly 8 years...it had spread to her lungs and bones so it was incurable...we all knew it was going to happen but it is still hard to believe it happened... she never seemed to look ill...the only time you could tell she was ill was when she had chemeotherapy and had no hair...and she only had that three times...I saw her two of those times and it was a sharp reminder that she was seriously ill...My cousin and her and two children a girl two years older than me, 20, and a boy that is a month younger than me...We used to go visit them every summer for a couple of weeks but as we got older and me and Lára started working we haven't spent as much time there...we used to spend all our time and my cousins house playing with his kids...so I think I'll go and spend some time with them...it's been ages since I have and it's always so much fun...might go do this Icelandic tradition which is go and catch all the baby puffins that get confused by the lights on the island and let them go so that they don't get killed by a cat, covered in oil and drown, run over...that kind of stuff...it's really good fun and I haven't done it since I was little...might go act like a little kid all the time :P hehe...

anyways I have to go back to school...have just had a triple lunch break! quite enjoyable since the rest of the class only had a single one and I get to brag about it!!! hehe :D

So it's ages since I've written anything...but I have finally finished my exams and of course I passed them all! :D which means my mum bought me and iPod nano!!! :D and after my exams I had a week of and spent the week at home in England...it was really nice...first I traveled to England with three of my friends and they came and stayed two nights at my house and I showed them Hull...then on the friday I had a bit of a blast from the past...Orri invited the football team to have pizza then go in the hot tub after practice which obviously meant I became their slave...cooking pizza and getting them drinks and towels....but there was one perk that I don't usually get...the shower wasn't working but they were all muddy from practice so they had to wash the mud off somehow and dad decided that they should get washed down with the hose...but so the water wasn't cold we connected to the tap in the laundry room so we could add hot water...but even though we did that the water was still quite cold, so when me, Erna and Hrefna were "washing" them it was quite amusing because they were all whining like little girls...then when the boys finally left Erna spent the night and we started to watch Sin City but when we turned it off we got a bit hyper and spent half the night pissing ourselves :D hehe on the saturday we went into town and I bought some gorgeous shoes!!! am very excited about them...then on saturday night I went and spent the night at Erna's house and we went for a drive (rúntinn) then on the sunday night Erna and her "cousin" came over and we went in the hot tub... I then spent monday with Leanne and Claire, we went into town and went up to the stables to see Claires new horse Frosty! :D I spent the night at Claires house but had to wake up at 8 to take Leanne home and then I went home and went back to bed :P then in the afternoon Rachel came to pick me up and we went into town and then we went to dancing for an hour and then to Mc Donalds...we were supposed to meet up with Sarah, Chrissy, Lisa and Libby but none of them turned up so it was just me and Rach...but it was ok cos we had fun and we met Pippa and her mum there which was nice since I haven't seen them since before I left...

Any way I'm going to bed now...will try to blog a bit more now that everything is getting back to normal...

So I've done 4 exams... German (eurgh), Icelandic, Maths and French this morning....then I've got English on Friday which of course is the hardest I'm going to take so am very stressed... hehe :P ...and then I have History and the equivalent of science...those really are the hardest exams and they are the only ones that are two days in a row with no break!!! :S

I've been very good spending most the day revising...from 9/10 am to 10 pm!!!! :-O am very proud...although I think it is kind of going to my head and making me a bit cranky....onw minute I'm in a great mood then the next I'm snapping at my mum or Lara for no reason at all!!! :S

but there is something good coming from all these exams and that is that we get a week of after the exams sos I'm coming to England for a week on Wednesday!!! :D so hopefully I will see you all then...but Leanne (Garner) has invited me to be her "date" to the 6th form prom...I don't think I can turn her down spo I'll probably be going to the 6th form prom! :D.....Muhahahaha you'll never get rid of meeee!!!! Muhahahaha bet you thought you'd gotten rid of me for ever when I went to Iceland didn't you? hah! well not just yet...maybe when you go to Uni... :S or whatever it is you're gonna do after 6th form....

anyways must go and be a good little and revise....

Sorry I haven't blogged in ages!!! :S but I have and exuse!!! I got home from England straight away had to start getting ready for all these exams I'm taking now...:S am busy reading this book or that...but actually now I'm doing equations...I've got Maths tomorrow and all I did yesterday and today is do maths!!!! :( not very fun...but then afterwards we get a week of and I should be going to England then so that will be good! :D but that will mean I probably won't blog for ages so you'll just have to bare with me!

So...how did everyone spend the beginning of the New Year doing?
I spent it in a caravan with Claire at a livery yard in the middle of no where pooing myself because I was watching the Ring 2...then afterwards to take our minds of it we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!!! :D:D:D:D:D

I GO HOME ON FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D am VERY excited!!! :D that is 2 and a half days til I go home!!!!! TWO AND A HALF!!!! :D:D:D:D am very very very very very excited! :D and then in 6 days I'm going to Fuertaventura one of the Canary Islands... :D:D:D:D We only go for a week though this year...usually we go for two weeks... but a week of sun is so much better then no sun at all! :D I will most definatly NOT get a tan :-S I never tan except for a little bit finally on the last day of a two week trip...since this is only a week I'll look the same when I get back as I did when I left...no actually my hair might be a bit blonder...otherwise NO difference! :-S
