this weekend in an attempt to fix my seasonal depression I went into accessorize and bought a lingerie set... a black vest and knickers with with a butterfly on and sequines...am wearing it today but it's not really working....:S (just thought you'd like to know!:P) then I got a txt from Rach which cheered me up a bit and then while I was replying I realised what the spark to my depression was...My friends coming to visit!!! it wasnt the fact that they came to visit but the fact that they left... :-( that got me very sad :'-( and now the apartment is very empty and quiet and I miss them even more than before!!!!Waaaaaaaaaaa!!!! :'-( come back!!!!!

I'd just like to say sorry for that last blog...wasn't in the greatest mood...have been in a bit of a weird mood lately...couldn't figure out what it was...but I know why it is now! it's been gently snowing for the past few days and everything has been white and today the weather is crazy!!! :-( it's been snowing all day and it's really windy...it's awful!!! but the thing is that I havn't seen the sun for a couple of days and it's been proved that sometimes people get seasonal depression...that in the winter when they don't get much sun they get depressed....think I've got a bit of that seasonal depression and that is why I didn't know what it was cos I've never been depressed before (not that I'm Actually depressed, but you know what I mean)

So I'm bored! it's what 5 to 1 in the middle of the night...I have to get up at 7:30 in the mornign to go to school...I was really tired today and the day before and I am now!!! so why aren't I going to sleep you ask? well that is a good question!!! one that I can not answer for you! I think I'm just kind of worn out... :S first I went to England for 4 days, which was great but I was doing something none stop and then when I got back there was no time to catch my breath, straight to school to catch up on everything I missed...the next day my friends from Ísafjörður came to visit, which was great but that really wore me out aswell... :-z so now I'm sat here listening to Elton John and complaining on my blog that I am in a mood! great! sorry for this...got no-one to talk too :S the internet on the dorms has been turned off cos someone was spreading a game illegally and apparently now he has been sued :S but most the people I talk to are living on the dorm so... :S grrr....and there is some other stuff but I'm going to stop now because you don't want to read boring stuff like this and this is supposed to be a HAPPY blog :P happy! happy! happy!!!! :D yeah! right!

So I know I haven't written anything in ages but anyways I have a good reason! My friends that live in Ísafjörður (the place I live every summer) came to visit me!!! :D:D:D:D It was so much fun and it was great having them but it's sad and empty in the apartment now coz they are gone... :-(

They came on thursday in the afternoon around 3ish but I wasn't finished in school yet...my last lesson finished at...hmm...it was 20 past 3 so I left at 3..telling the teacher I had to leave to see the doctor :P and ran homew...about 5 minutes later they arrived at my door :D after giving them the tour of my house they decided that I don't live in an apartment...I live in a house....which they went on to tell everyone they met, that kindof knew me...they said they had been expecting a tiny hole of a flat...only thing I could say to thata was "don't you know my dad?" there is no way he would make me live in a tiny hole of a flat...:P I know I'm spoilt and damn proud of it! :P :D That evening we ordered Dominos pizza! :D and then we went out to a cafe to meet Alberta, a girl that used to live in Ísafjörður but moved here this summer, and 2 of her friends...I don't really know her much, shes not in my school, but she was friends with them when she lived in Ísafjörður.... it was good were there til 12 ish then we went to buy doritos and sweets and stuff, walked home put Dirty Dancing 2 in and went to bed...bed was 2 mattresses on the floor and the sofa :P we wanted to sleep all in the same room and that was the only place that had enough room for us all....Helga and Ásthildur managed the first few scenes, Birgitta managed nearly all the film and I, well I had to go to school the next day so of course I watched the whole film and didn't go to sleep til around half past 3 and woke up at 8...!

Then on the friday I got home at around 12 to find the girls just getting out of bed! we walked into the town center...don't really know what to call it, there are only a couple of shops, but we still managed to spend money in a truely womanly fashion...:P anyways we spent ages in "town" and finally had lunch at around 3-4 o'clock...then we went in a few more shops and finally got home at around 6...that night we went out and met a couple of boys we know from Ísafjörður! :D
Then on Saturday we slept til 1-2 o'clock :P then we went for a walk down to Brynju which is a little shop that is famous all over the country for it's ice cream! it's the best ice cream ever!!! then we went back home and started to get ready for the night...went out to the Greifan a restaurant...that was very nice and our waiter was gorgeous...we all just kindof sat and stared everytime he came to the table :P he must have thought we were idiots!!! :S that night we went to a "concert" type thing...don't really know what to call it, but it was at the club (there is only one here) and a band was playing.... :S well anyway it was really good and we had fun so... :D

then on the sunday we stayed in bed til around 4 when Helga and Birgitta went to the shops to buy some food :P then at around 10 we went to the cinema to see Flight Plan...it's quite good...then when we got back Alberta came for a visit and to say good bye cos the girls were leaving the next day...she stayed til around 1 and then we just sat around talking...think I fell asleep around 3 and of course I had to go to school the next day...

typically I didn't wake up til my emergency alarm went of about 10 mins before I had to be at school, so I quickly got up, brushed my teeth, packed my bag, put my coat and everything on and went to school...in my pajamas! :P everyone kept asking me if I was wearing pajamas..hehe...actually I wear my pj's to school quite often...it's very nice :P then when I came home at lunch I woke the girls up but only Helga got out of bed so that when I got home after school at 2 (it was a womens rights day and at 2 all women got to leave work, school, etc...) they had only just got out of bed and gone out to get something to eat! then when they got back...they left... :'-( WAAAaaaa!!!! :'-( so now the apartment seems very quiet and empty... :-S I want them back!!!!

Yesterday I was in a double lesson with a 10 min break in between and in the last 10 mins of the first lesson I was so tired I just layed my head on my arms and of course I nodded off...but when the break was over and the teacher started to do the register, did my friend that sat next to me think to wake me up...Nooooo! she said I looked so comfy...that was after I woke up to the WHOLE class shouting my name to wake me up!!! nice friend!!! then today I was really tired and kept nearly falling asleep in lesson, so when it was lunch and as I had a double lunch I went and laid down in the area where everyone sits in break and lunch and went to sleep...I had a nice little nap for about half an hour when I woke up to find half the people sat around me when I had fallen asleep gone and I was kind of disotrientated as at first I didn't realise where I was! :S but it was ok cos I felt really refreshed after that! :D

So I just spent the last 4 days in England :D:D:D which was VERY enjoyable :D:D the only thing was that I only got to stay for 4 days :S and there was a full program as my mums whole family was there so I didn't really have time to meet any of my friends :( managed to meet 4 of them... so I'm going to just quickly tell you about my trip....won't make it to long coz I know no-one can be bothered to read it then...

• On wednesday afternoon I set of from my apartment to go to the airport to fly to Rekjavík...only to arrive at the airport to find out that I had read the time that the plane arrived in Rekjavík not the time it left Akureyri! :S so obviously I had missed my flight...but it was OK I could go on a later flight...and do you know what the man at the airport did?!?!?!?GRRR!!! I was really annoyed at this! He laughed at me!!!!:( so I went back home waited for 2 hours went back to the airport at six and flew to Rekjavík.

• Then I went to the cinema with my cousin and some of his friends to see The Descent...didn't know what we were got there and then I didn't know what it was about...I soon found out! in Iceland they have a break in the middle of the film so you can go to the toilet, buy more food, drinj, etc. and when the break came we were all thinking is this it...it didn't seem to be any good all that had happened so far was some women went caving...oh and Gollum showed up!!! :P but after the break, I swear to god I nearly pooed my pants I was SO scared, well the Gollum thing was just the one, there were loads of them and they eat people and urrrgh!!! well just go see it if you want to find out!!!

• Then on Thursday me and my mums siblings and their other halves and their kids set of to the airport...there were 20 of us and then we met my dad at the airport making 21 of us!

• We flew to England, Landed at London, Stanstead, got picked up by Mike (the man that always drives ur to and from the airport) in a mini bus! drove home, went in the Hot Tub :D:D, went to sleep in the living room (there were 24 people staying in the house)!

• Next day (Friday) me and my 24 year old cousin Birna were sent to buy 5 chickens a 4 loaves of bread. when we got back from doing that we were sent to pick Orri up from work experience, of course we go lost and ended up in Beverly but then after about an hour we finally arrived at the right place then we went home to eat.

• At 4 o'clock we went to Hull Fair!!!:D:D:D YAY!!! was VERY excited for that...so we went to Hull Fair at 4 with all the little kids...took Hrefna and two of my cousins on the waltzers...my cousins liked at first laughed had fun... then the crying started....:S anyway Lára came at around 8 and we stayed at Hull Fair till 10 then we went home, went in the hot tub :D:D then went to sleep(now 25 people staying in the house!:-O)

• Next day (Saturday) I woke up early to go see Rachel for abit, had to go see her at dancing as I wouldn't have time to see her than then, managed to see her for 30 mins!Then the kids played a football match (long story, and a stupid one!) then I went to see Leanne for about 45 mins, not much but at least it's something, then we went out, by this time there were 27 of us as 2 of Orris friends had added to the group, Josh and Markús, we went to do a bit of shopping in outfit and them shops then we went Ice skating, my cousin is 3 in November so we decided to give him a little party...then we went straight from there to Dominics! :D Then I rang Claire and as it's her 18th birthday soon and I won't be there we went to the cinema to see Deuce Bigolow: European Gigolo, it's quite good...

• Next day (sunday) I had a lie in :D very nice then I rang Erna and went to see her...was at her house most of the day then we walked to mine and then we went on the trampoline, were called childish by my cousin (grr) and then we went to her house for dinner and I got to borrow the car and drive all on my own with my mum or dad in the car!!! :D:DD: they hadn't let me do that in England yet!!! :D:D:D

• Next day (monday) mine and Lára's last day, we went...shopping!!!! :D:D bought lots of stuff and had some fish and chips, think the women working there nearly had heart attacks when a group of 24 people trooped into the shop!then we went home, me and Lára had about half an hour to pack and get ready to leave, then we had to take a group photo, then me, Lára and dad left...we drove to London, flew to Iceland, arrived in the middle of the night, went to a hotel, set the clock to wake us up at 6:30 am, I finally got to bed at around 2:30!!! :S

• Next morning (tuesday) woke up at 6:30 got up, dressed and ready to go, went to the airport to catch the first flight to Akureyri so that I could go straight to school (oh joy!!!:S) got on the plane, flew to Akureyri, flew over Akureyri for about 20 mins, turned around and flew back to Rekjavík!!!:-O there was to much fog and the plane couldn't land!!! so we waited at the airport then at 11 we did all over again, got on the plane, flew to Akureyri, only difference was that this time we actually landed!!! :D hurray!!! then at one I went to school to go to that last 4 lessons (lessons are 40 mins long in my school)

all in all it was a good trip :D that was abit longer then I thought it would be...oh well, it's all gravy!

guess what my friend just pointed out to me!!!!! in my profile it says that I am a MAN!!!!! GRRRR!!! I am not a MAN I am a WOMAN!!!! Am going to have to fix this!!!next time I blog I will, according to my profile, be a WOman!

How do you spell chiefs/cheifs?
I think it's the first but I think it looks abit funny... would appreciate it if someone let me know!

So on wednesday night my mother called and Lára was talking to her about our fathers impending visit and telling her about the trip i'm going on with my class next thursday, it's just an over night thing we go and stay in this cabin miles away from everything next to this lake....every class does it, every year...but it was good last year...plus last year it snowed loads so the coach couldn't drive all the way up to the cabin so we had go out and walk to it :P...anyways...Lára is telling her this because for some reason I am not home (can't remember why...) and then my mum says "thursday?!?but Salka is flying to England then!!" so the thing is most my mums siblings have decided to take a trip with all their kids to England...going on the thursday and returning on the wednesday and we weren't dure if I should go...whether I could afford taking time of school (specially since I failed so badly last time) so the last I heard on this matter was "I'm not sure if you can come Salka, we'll have to see" so I thought I wasn't going and had just forgotten about it...until then...but I don't get to stay that long...I have to return on the monday so I'm only staying for....4/5 days...but 4/5 days is better then nothing!!! :D everyone had better be ready to meet me!!! :D can't wait...and oh I HAVE to go shopping I actually have NO clothes...I think I lost them all this summer... :S I will try and take lots of pictures but knowing me I'll take the little bag to carry the camera in but forget the actual camera :P

anyway...as you know I've been tagged...well it's quite a while since I was tagged and I don't understand it! what am I supposed to do?!?!?! :S I know I sound really stupid but could someone PLEASE tell me what I'm supposed to do?!?!?!?
