Stories of Iceland

So...Back from Danmark...lots and lots of fun of course! :D so I reckon I should finish telling you about the trip...just trying to remember where I left of...it was the peeing bats wasn't it? :S urgh! Luckly I didn't get peed on thank God!

• So on the Thursady we went to school and started our projects....then afterwards I went to Aarhus with Arisa and some other girls...think there was about 14 of us...well we spent about 2 hours in Aarhus shopping :D and then took the train back to Randers...it was about half 7 when we got back (it was nearly an hours ride on the train...) and me and Aris went to a pizza place and had some pizza for dinner :D yum! After the pizza we walked to the bus station inly to find out the next bus didn't go till after and hour and a half!!! :-O so we spent the next 3/4 hour walking around Randers then we went and sat in this little room at the bus station until finally the bus came....I was chilled to my bones by that time...it wasn't especially cold in Danmark but when your walking around wearing just a jacket and no jumper you get quite cold....
• then on the Friday we carried on with our project...then on friday night we went to the cinema to see "In her shoes"... it's good :) then we were goint ot go to Crazy Daisy but when we got there the doorman was making everyone show some id, even though it was a 16 year olds and over night!!!! but I didn't have any so he wouldn't let us in!!! I mean do I look like I'm not 16 yet?!?! :S that's awful! I look like a little kid!!!:-( so we went home and just went to bed :-(
• on the Saturday we went to Aarhus with all the class and went to looka at the old town there....then we got to go shopping :D me and Herdís found the comfiest bed ever!!!! we didn't want to leave...but then we had to coz otherwise we would be left behind...
• on the Saturday night the Danish kids held a party for us :D we got there at around eight and not many people were there yet...then everyone starting arriving and the pizza came....but it was wierd danish pizza and one had shrimp on and things like that and it wasn't very nice so I didn't eat any...then we danced the night away....
• on sinday we had to be at the school at 10 in the morning to write a report about the status of our project, that took about 5 mis then we just hung around for an hour until we had to get everything ready for the Danish/Icelandic buffet we were having for all the families...then we spent 3 hours eating lunch!!! :-O then we went to the train station...said goodbye to everyone and left...oh no before that one of the Danish teachers decided to humiliate me infront of all the Danish kids and their families...I don't think you'll find it funny...you kind of had to be there so I won't tell you how he did it....
• then on the sunday night we went to the christmas fair (kind like hull fair but everything is decorated fo christmas) in Cobenhagen...it was fun but we were only there for an hour befor it closed cos we got there so late...then we went back to the youth hostel where we were spending the night...
• on the monday morning we had to be out of the youth hostel before 9 o'clock...then we went to the train station where a (I think he was) homeless person asked to kiss me...no thanks....not really.... :-S then we took a train to Kastrup (the sirport) flew to Iceland, took a bus to Akureyri (6 hours) then finally we were back home :D

So I'm in Danmark at the moment...am supposed to be researching for this project we're doing but I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be researching so I just thought I'd blog abit... here's a little bit about our trip...

• we had to be at the airport at 6 o'clock in the morning on Tuesday which meant I had to be up at 4 to get to my friends house then drive to the airport...except on the monday night I started to watch a film at around 11 then when that finished I saw XXX was on TV so I started to watch that abd it didn't finish til 3 so I thought better go to bed...only problem was that when I did, I couldn't get to sleep so I just lay there.... :S
• It takes about 3 hours to fly to Danmark and while just about everyone else slept I stayed awake... then we got a train from the airport to Copenhagen where we had about 3 1/2 hours free time :D so I went shopping!!! :D:D:D spent about 70 - 80 pounds in H&M!!! :D
• We then took a train to Randers, where we are staying....and I still didn't sleep, we got to Randers at around 8:30...then when we got "home" we took the dog out for a walk and then we just talked so by the time I went to bed at 10:30 I hadn't slept at all for 38 (?) hours!!! :S
• Then we went to school on Wednesday and were put in tams and went round and did 4 things..first dance, they taught us some oold danish dances....then Team-work, we played some team games...then Language where we were supposed to translate parts of a very rude rap song but Idon't know any so I didn' do anything, then they started to teach us how to flirt and they made me read something of the board which I later found out meant "Hi! is that your mobile in your pocket or ar you just happy to see me?", then we did music whhere soomeone went oon the piano, me, someone on the drums, Kristján, and someone on the bass, Lára...but Kristján has no beat so he couldn't play the drums so we switched so that was really good!!! :D:D:D then we went to the Randers Rainforest...it's inside this building....there were loads of animals and in one bit there were bats and they were peeing on us!!! :-O

So I go to RVK in what 2 hours...only just woke up about half an ahour/ and hour ago....spent half that time on the computer... :S god I've actually become abit of a computer nerd!!! well there's nothing else to do here really....actually I'm not always on the computer it's just turned on most the time....anyway back to the thing I was telling...so I'm going to RVK later and I am attempting to pack...which is not goin to well for me I shall tell you what clothes I have decided on...a denim dungaree skirt, a brown short sleeved t-shirt and a long sleeved t-shirt. and that is it!!!!oh and a pair of jeans....just haven't put them on the pile as I will be wearing them!....I don't think I need any more clothes for a week long trip to Danmark, do you?!? :S actually I was planning on spendin a lot of money in the H&M shop in Kobenhavn...god I'm hungry!!!! There's no food here though! might go and buy an ice cream....mmmmmm Ice Cream....:D

LAst night was good :D we didn't go till around 1 think we got there at half 12 but there was hardly anyone there coz Icelandic people are stupid...there was music playing but no-one was dancing and everyone was just waiting for the band to come and play and that is why no-one was there yet but the band waits till people start to arrive to go and play so it just gets delayed!!!! It's a viscous cycle! got very hot though cos there were loads of people...ended up having to take on of my tops of.. :P we danced alot and I met loads of people that I know and haven't seen/spoken to in ages so that was fun....oh yeah if you hadn't noticed...I got in! :D it was ok cos there were 2 doormen...1 we know and 1 we don't and the 1 we don't asked Lára and Sóley (the girl that went with us) if they had ID and I just thought..."shit I don't have anything!" but then the othere doorman, the 1 we know, was free so I went to him and he just ripped my ticket!!! :D:D:D I love him now!!! :D:D we were talking about it and I reckon he isn't sure how old I am cos I don't really know him....think he thinks I'm old enough thoug...unless he just let me in cos I was with Lára and Sóley... oh well....been there everyweek for 3 /4 weeks in a row now and the woman that looks after the coats knows me...she always smiles when I come...but I think that might be cos I'm always...oh can just get something out of this coat...you can put it back now....can I put this back in the coat, thanx....you can put it back now... :-P oh well I don't think she minds...shes never said anything!

'tis a long weekend so I get to lazy about for 4 days!!! :D but actually I have to pack for Danmark!!! :D:D:D am going to RVK tomorrow! :D (that's Rekjavík) will go visit my grandad who I haven't seen since this summer!!! :D:D:D then I go to Danmark!!!! :D :D:D we leave very early on a tuesday mornig!!! :S 6 o'clock!!! :S but I still can't wait!!! they have a HUGE H&M!!!! :D:D:D:D

I also have big news!!! am taking Lára to a club/bar tonight!!! Lára soesn't got to clubs/bars!!!!maybe if she likes it she will start going more often :D but I am a bit nervous about going as I went to a birthday thingy last sunday (think I told you about it) and 4 of the doormen that work at the cluv/var were there so now they will either always let me in or never!!! :S oh well...but it's ok tonight actually cos I just remembered that I'm going with the girlfriend of one of then so shell get me in...:D woo hoo!!!! :D:D:D:D

well I woke up this morning in a good mood so I think that pesky seasonal depression is gone!!! :D Hallelujah!!!! :D I am feeling alot better now :D flipped out abit this morning couldn't stop laughing and found just about evertything funny!!! :-S :-P just thought I'd let you know! :D
